What the recipient of a share link sees
Last reviewed Lees dit in het Nederlands
A file link opens a page with the file's details and a Download button; viewing does not count as a download. A folder link lists the files but cannot download them.
A share link opens a page on endorr.com (/s/…). The recipient does not need an Endorr account.
File links
The page shows the file name, type, size, when it was updated, and until when the link works. Select Download to get the file.
- Opening or viewing the page does not use up a download; only Download does.
- If the link has a download limit, the page shows Downloads left.
- If the file is still uploading, the page says so.
Folder links
The page shows the folder name and the files directly inside it. A folder link does not download files: ask the person who shared it for a link to the file you need.
When a link does not work
The page says This link no longer works. The link may have expired, reached its download limit, or the file may have been deleted. Ask the person who shared it for a new link.
If the page says the link is being opened very often right now, wait a minute and try again. Each link and each visitor can only download a limited number of times per hour, to protect against abuse.
Report a link
Every share page has Report this link, which opens Endorr's notice form. Use it for illegal content or abuse.
Share pages are not indexed by search engines and never load analytics or advertising tags.
