Transfer ownership or leave an organisation

Only the owner can hand an organisation to another member. To leave, ask the owner or an admin to remove you; your files stay with the organisation.
Transfer ownership
Only the owner can do this.
- Open Settings → Members in the organisation.
- On the row of the member who should become owner, change the role to Owner.
- Confirm.
The new owner takes over, and you become an admin. You need to transfer ownership before you can delete your own account if the organisation has other members.
Leave an organisation
Studio has no Leave button yet. To leave an organisation, ask its owner or an admin to remove you in Settings → Members. The owner cannot leave or be removed: transfer ownership first. You cannot leave your personal workspace.
When you leave or are removed:
- you lose access to the organisation's files straight away;
- files you uploaded stay with the organisation (Terms §3.3);
- your Endorr account and your personal workspace are not affected.
The owner is no longer available
Endorr support cannot change the owner from a conversation alone. Contact support with the organisation ID, and explain the situation.
