Placements, presets and print areas in a mockup
Last reviewed Lees dit in het Nederlands
Use presets such as left chest, large front or upper back, or place artwork freely in cm, mm or inches. You get a warning when a print leaves the recommended print area.
Presets
Presets place your artwork at a common position and width. You can adjust them afterwards.
| Product | Presets (default width) |
|---|---|
| T-shirts | Left chest 90 mm, Right chest 90 mm, Centre chest 100 mm, Large front 280 mm, Upper back 250 mm, Large back 300 mm, Left and Right sleeve 70 mm |
| Long sleeves and crew sweaters | As T-shirts, plus Forearm (120 mm) and Above cuff (50 mm) on each sleeve |
| Hoodies | Left chest 90 mm, Centre chest 240 mm, Upper back 280 mm, Large back 320 mm, plus sleeve, forearm and above-cuff presets |
| Kraft carton | Top, Front, Back, Left side, Right side |
Quick sets: Chest + back and Front + back.
Sizes and units
Sizes show in cm by default; you can switch to mm or in. Sizes are real print sizes on the chosen garment size.
A mockup can hold up to 20 prints.
Recommended print areas
Each view has a recommended print area, based on the garment's measurements: for example on the front and back up to 356 mm wide, starting 60 mm below the neck, and 90 mm wide on a sleeve.
If a print goes outside it, you see this warning: "Outside the recommended print area. That is fine for a visual; check with your printer before production." It also warns when a print goes beyond the surface, over a pocket or over a seam. These are warnings, not blocks.
