Temporary and kept files

Kept files stay in your Endorr files until you delete them and count toward your storage. Temporary uploads are deleted after 7 days and do not count.

Every file in your Endorr files is either kept or temporary. The Temporary and Kept tabs in Files show each kind.

The Files view and the Upload panel always show the current number of days.

Choose when you upload

In the Upload panel, the Keep permanently switch is on by default. Switch it off before choosing files to upload them as temporary.

Keep a temporary file

Open the file's More menu, or its details, and choose Keep. The file stays the same file, with the same Endorr file ID, everywhere in Endorr. This needs edit access and enough free storage; while storage is full, Keep is not available.

Files Endorr saves for you

  • When you fix a file while signed in, Endorr keeps the original and every file you download as kept files, in a folder it makes for them. See Where your fixed files are saved.
  • When you make a mockup, uploaded artwork and saved mockups are copied as kept files to Mockup Files.
  • Opening a fixed file in a mockup creates a temporary file.
