Install Endorr Cloud for Windows and sign in
Last reviewed Lees dit in het Nederlands
Endorr Cloud for Windows shows your Endorr Cloud files in File Explorer. It needs Windows 10 (1809) or later on a 64-bit PC and installs per user, without admin rights.
Requirements
- Windows 10 (version 1809) or later, or Windows 11.
- A 64-bit (x64) PC.
- An Endorr account.
Install
- Download Setup from endorr.com/downloads/windows (version 0.2.3, 18.8 MB).
- Run it. It installs for your Windows user only and does not need admin rights. If the .NET Desktop Runtime is missing, Setup adds it from Microsoft.
- Windows SmartScreen may warn that the app is from an unknown publisher, because the installer is not code-signed yet. Choose to run it anyway if you downloaded it from endorr.com.
For IT departments there is also a portable ZIP that runs without installing.
- Select Sign in with your browser. Endorr opens in your browser.
- Sign in with your Endorr account. Your password never passes through the app.
- Open the Endorr Cloud folder in File Explorer's navigation pane. Your files are at
%USERPROFILE%\Endorr.
Optionally switch on Start Endorr when I sign in to Windows.
Updates
The app checks for updates when it starts and every six hours, downloads them in the background and installs them the next time Endorr quits, or straight away with Restart to update. Some updates may be required to keep using the service (Terms §16.2).
Sign out and uninstall
- Sign out in the app: syncing stops and Endorr leaves File Explorer. Files already downloaded stay on your PC. Signing out of Endorr in a browser does not sign out the Windows app.
- Uninstall from Windows Settings: the Explorer integration and autostart are removed. Files on disk are left alone.
