VAT on your purchase

Endorr's prices exclude VAT. Dutch customers and EU customers without a VAT number pay 21% Dutch VAT; EU businesses with a valid VAT number get reverse charge; outside the EU no VAT is charged.
All prices on endorr.com and in Studio are excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout, based on the billing country and VAT number you enter.
| Where you are billed | VAT number | VAT charged |
|---|---|---|
| The Netherlands | With or without | 21% Dutch VAT |
| Another EU country | None, or not valid | 21% Dutch VAT |
| Another EU country | Valid EU VAT number and company name | No VAT: reverse charge |
| Outside the EU (including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway) | Not needed | No VAT |
Reverse charge
If you enter a valid EU VAT number from another EU country, together with the company name that goes with it, Endorr does not charge VAT. Your receipt says: "VAT reverse-charged (btw verlegd): the customer accounts for the VAT, Article 196 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC." You account for the VAT in your own country.
Endorr checks the VAT number against the EU's VIES register. If VIES does not know the number, checkout says so: check the number, or leave it empty to pay VAT.
Outside the EU
Customers billed outside the EU pay no VAT. The receipt says "Outside the scope of EU VAT." Customers in Europe outside the EU (such as the UK, Switzerland and Norway) still pay in euros.
Dutch VAT numbers
A Dutch VAT number does not change the VAT: Dutch businesses pay 21% VAT, which they can usually reclaim. The number is printed on the receipt.
Changing your billing details
Endorr keeps the billing details from your last checkout and uses them for the next one. Renewals keep the VAT treatment of the subscription. If your details changed, contact support.
